Description:

(ID 313979)
Like making love to a superstar. The dance - retro sound of Glovebox is reminiscent of their label mates the LOVEMAKERS. It makes you want to dance and sing and generally feel good about yourself.

13 MP3 Songs
ELECTRONIC: Dance, POP: 80's Pop

Details:
With a great commercial dance vibe and sound that conjures up the bet acts of the 1980's such as The Cure, Thomas Dolby, Macy Grey they are fully supported on their tour by their record label.

Live performances often include mad moments.
In the USA we plan to have strippers arrive mid set (where permitted), dance troupes, and much more.

CMJ SAID

GLOVEBOX: GloveBox
After a trip-poppy opening track on Australian duo GloveBox's self-titled debut, the band plays up their humorously deadpan delivery with Cake-ish lines like "McDonald's they're a restaurant not a cafÃÂé I like the way they stack my tray." "Never Be The Same" follows this with Beth Gibbons-like ruminations, and the "$10 Whore" boasts an operatic opening for the rather unsympathetic treatment of the subject. Touting themselves as "electrorganic super pop," Glovebox's sound could be a bit more "super" sometimes, but their Aussie dance-pop gets those down under to shake their down unders.
