The band "Brownkid" started as an acoustic act by Eduardo Leon a native of Lima Peru in 2001. A couple of years later Scotty Rollins joined him playing drums and Mc Catapilla (Rodrigo) added his skilled hip hop style to the mix. Over the years they have opened and closed shows for local and national acts throughout the southeast. They have also been featured on local radio, interviewed by national television and by local newspapers such as the Corner news. Their originals have an acoustic/punk influence with a hip hop rythm, that makes the crowd able to dance and enjoy the musical atmosphere.
