The Neighborhood:
Your best chance to meet Franco & Zippy is at their Friday Night Driveway Show. You'll see Franco on keyboard and backing vocals and lead singer Zippy on guitar. An event that must be experienced to be understood. Just as the street lights are about to come on, you'll witness the spectacle of Franco & Zippy as they emerge from the garage and fill their suburban neighborhood with a special brand of music. Once there, you'll also have an opportunity to meet their eclectic circle of friends. And circle really is a good word to use, seeing as it's Hobo Joe's favorite thing in life, next to rainbows and scotch, that is. You'll see him pedaling on his flashy banana seat bike in circles around the court. Truly, "A New Word of Life."
The ever-wise eleven-year-old (almost twelve) Amy from next door will be front and center, watching the show with her babysitter de jour. She's Franco & Zippy's biggest fan. And once Franco & Zippy play their big hit song, A to the E, rotund neighbor Big Mac (as he's known because of his size and perhaps his affinity to fast food) will make an angry appearance, where he'll threaten Franco & Zippy for disturbing the peace in the neighborhood.

And Friday nights are only the beginning.

There are a few things you should know. Since elementary school, quiet natured Franco has been in love with Hannah, now a waitress at the local pub, owned and operated by D'Angelo. The bar owner is one of Zippy's more vocal nemeses (although Zippy would never admit that someone doesn't like him).

Be warned: Zippy loves women. Plain and simple. His world stops for all women (as long as they're just the least bit attractive). So if you are a woman or resemble a woman, be careful! And if he wins you over, know that his dating style is less than ordinary.

You should also know that acclaimed Chinese director Lon Wang (a name best said out loud) has been filming everything Franco & Zippy do. His seven years of study in filmmaking have finally paid off as he's been putting together a "reality" TV series, with the hope of turning Franco & Zippy into the biggest television franchise ever - he has committed to follow them until they are approximately 82 years old.
