Americana Rock
14 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Americana, COUNTRY: Country Rock
Details:
GOODBYE SONS formed in 2001 under the name Adult Dose, which eventually changed to Royal Jelly, then just as quickly to The Haints, then to The Farm Team, then finally to Goodbye Sons -- after it was realized that each previous band name was taken. The Sons started out as a two-man outfit, with brothers-in-law John Bristow on guitar and Christopher Miller drumming, just playing for kicks on the weekends or at small get-togethers. Eventually the duo met Greg White, and the bassist filled in the gaps quite nicely, so a song-writing process evolved. Multi-instrumentalist Josh Hall soon hopped aboard and Goodbye Sons' unique sound emerged. Cousin-in-law David Sojka was needed for rhythm guitar, and the rest is not yet history....Goodbye Sons have two independently-released CD's: 2003's "March" and the current "Endings With No Story."
