Frank's first musical life centered around the Goodman Brothers, from duo to sextet form, on both coasts of the U.S. and Europe. They put out two CDs on Taxim Records in Germany, and Crooked Smile got four stars in the German Rolling Stone. In his thirties, Frank played a key role at Mesa/Boogie, the maverick CA amp company. He got back into music full time in his forties, played in Europe for a couple of years, and re-settled in Nashville as a performing songwriter. Frank is also the editor and co-founder of the popular webzine Puremusic.com.

His new CD Morning Boy is a spartan showcase of his sinuous guitar style and penetrating songs of love and the lack thereof.
