New Retro is not your typical straight ahead rock CD. Rooted more in theatrical performance than in rock, this album is reaching to break new ground and bring listeners to a place not normally ventured. This is a disc worth listening to.

New Retro features a unique combination of textures that include heavy guitars, horns, timpani, keyboards, and violins. Songs from the album have already been featured in the independent film "The Morning After," and the group has received positive reviews from Capitol News Online. The group has performed fifteen shows and is preparing to play a variety of festivals in Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver.
What the band has to say about there album.
"We have allot of admiration for the powerful music of the past by masters like Pink Floyd, Yes, Deep Purple, James Brown, and Led Zepplin. At the same time we understand how music is a reflection of the times and a band must develop its own style and voice in those times. New Retro was driven by that desire to reinvent the music from before in our own way in 2005. The album was also intended to be interesting and different but not weird as we strove to connect with our audience. Many of our fans have a difficult time deciding who we sound like because of it."

HORNY!
Love the effects in the beginning. Horns! NICE! Gotta love horns. It gives this song a bit of funk. Oh that is a bass line...lay it out! Awesome. Keyboards are great, wah on the guitar. Sax is very key in this tune. Oh ya sax solo! K enough, stop! You guys win. The mix in this song is outstanding. There is so much to listen to and it all fits with each other. One of the best songs I've heard in the garage so far. Nice ending too. Beautiful job guys! I want to hear it again, and I want to hear more of your music.

I've just finished checking out the "Good Question" website, and listened further at garageband where I caught "Overflow". I think that song is genius.
I cannot understand how you have 2-3 star ratings at Garageband. The thing that is wrong is alot of people cannot focus on the music to hear what is happening and really all they notice is "this is different". Those people are the followers, where they won't get into anything until someone else talks about them or the radio plays it. Its really kind of crappy that way. Keep up the good work.
