Country Gospel
2 MP3 Songs
GOSPEL: Country Gospel, GOSPEL: Traditional Gospel
Details:
Gordie Fuller was born and raised in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, near the Vermont border. He worked internationally in heavy construction and in the pipeline industry for over twenty years. From the time he was a teenager, he had a love for country music. He sang frequently in churches in Quebec and Vermont, although he didn't have a personal relationship with the Lord.
In January 1974, Gordie heard the message of salvation and accepted Christ as his Saviour. In 1975, he felt led to give up his full-time job and take the Gospel message in song and word to shut-ins-those in jails, prisons, nursing homes, veterans' hospitals, and psychiatric hospitals. For nearly ten years, he shared God's love in institutions and churches in Ontario, Quebec and the eastern United States, often taking other musicians, pastors and evangelists with him as he toured. He was heard on radio programs and appeared on television shows in Canada and the U.S., and recorded albums which sold internationally.
