This song was written by SYDEFX to honor a very special friend. Emily Robinson was Push's best friend and became the band's #1 fan, friend and advisor. She was such a great person who made you glad just to be around her. She loved everyone and was a loyal friend who went through life selflessly and made everyone around her happy. The acoustic version of this song is a tribute to her that the band recorded for her family, which represents that soft angelic side of Em that we all loved, but the original version of this song is so much more like her - a little more rockin'.
We lost Em in 2007 and the night we found out about this
tragic loss, we wrote Emily's song. We always promised Em that we would write a song for her and she never let us forget about our promise, reminding us every chance that she could. So here is your song Em. We love and miss you, but soon we'll be together.
