Details:
Jacques Goudreault is a French Canadian singer / songwriter / musician who's travels from the Yukon to Labrador provide the inspiration for much of his country / folk / roots / rock oriented perspectives.

Jacques also draws styling influences from the likes of Stan Rogers, Bob Dylan, Blue Rodeo, John Prine, Greg Brown, Guy Clark, Townes VanZandt, Willie P Bennett, Cattie Curtis, Mary Gauthier, Lucinda Williams and Emmylou Harris for songsmanship, distinctive voices and unique points of view.

His songs span many years and include the award winning Just Because to Pretty One, How Many More Days, Miner's Son's Lament, Fortune Teller Woman, That Train Song, Ain't Gonna Be So Easy This Time, Hats and Boots. Jacques covers a range of subjects, sometimes dark but always with subtle provocation, perspectives, sensitive words and genuine music. With his debut CD now released, work on his 2004 release has already begun.
