Details:
Born Dublin/Ireland/1975 Rab Meharg met Lee Michael Crane born Leeds/England/1976 at Saint Colm's whilst attending High School in Belfast in Ireland (1989). Realizing similar musical intersts Rab lead vocalist/bass guitarist/writer together with lead guitarist/writer Lee Michael played in many bands. It was August 1999 that 'The Graffiti Junction' was formed by Rab and Lee Michael. They performed in many small venues including bars and night clubs. They played cover songs and grew instrumentally.
It was March 2001 when they decided to write and produce their own music. Shout Studios was then created by The G.J. December 2003 where they recorded their debut album "Gimme Some Truth" (July 2004). Gimme Some Truth is a compilation af a wide range of sounds with variations of Modern, Pop, & Funk Rock.
During their visit in America March 2005 The G.J. performed at the infamous "Downtown Bar" in Farmingdale on Long Island in New York. Due to popular demand The Graffiti Junction will play yet again at the Downtown Bar during their next return to the United States.
Bands such as Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Incubus, have had an enormous influence on Rab and Lee Michael. Rab Meharg's unique versatile voice and Lee Michael's finess ability to manipulate the strings of a guitar has brought The G.J. to new levels.
