Guitarist Gregory James composes arrangements that
reflect freedom and
change. He is joined by Kai Eckhardt on bass,
formerly of the John McLaughlin
Trio, and Deszon Claiborne on drums. Craig Easley
reads his words to the
vinyl undertones of DJ Fly, while Peter Horvath,
Jenny Scheinman, Catie
Murphy and Baron Shul intertwine string, wind and
keyboard melodies.
Brazilian musician Celia Malheiros adds percussion
to the tone of Rasaki
Aladokun talking drum and congas.
