Tommy Fiammenghi was born in Italy on June 5, 1979. His father, a guitarist who plays country blues and rag-time, got Tommy interested in playing music at an early age: Tommy started playing guitar at age nine !! His main influence was the black american music (blues, funk, soul) and the Â60s/Â70s rock and roll music (Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Crosby-Stills & Nash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Van Halen and many more). He also loves early Â80s heavy music (Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Whitesnake). Tommy formed a lot of bands while attending highschool in Pavia; in 2002 he joined to SCOMUNICA, an italian rock band led by the singer Moreno Delsignore; in 2005 Tommy recorded the album ÂLa Lentissima Fine Del Mondo with this band. In 2006 Tommy geared himself up for the next phase of his career: that of solo artist. He formed his own band and recorded his debut solo album ÂSongs From A YearÂ: this is also his debut as a singer . All the nine tracks of the album were written by Tommy. ÂSongs From A Year is a collection of rockÂnÂroll songs and Tommy, with his guitar and voice, touches his favourite musical genres: hard rock, funk, blues, ballad and many more.
