Lucy puts an Ad in the paper for a roommate so she can cut her bills in half. Carol Bradford (Carol Burnett), a Librarian, answers the ad and moves in. Lucy feels sorry for her because she cant find a man, so Lucy throws Carol a party and invites some musician friends of hers. Carol Gets drunk and becomes the life of the party.
