SECTION 2 DISASSEMBLY Note : Follow the disassembly procedure in the numerical order given. 2-1. MAIN BOARD 2 Connector (CN304) 1 Two screws (+P 2.6 × 8) 4 Main board 3 Connector (CN301) --4-- SECTION 3 MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENTS · PRECAUTION Clean the following parts with a denatured-alchool-moistened swab: record/playback head erase head pinch rollers playback head rubber belts idlers capstan Demagnetize the record/playback head with a head demagnetizer. (Do not bring a head demagnetiger close to the erase head.) Do not use a magnetized screwdriver for the adjustments. After the adjustments, apply suitable locking compound to the parts adjusted. Perform adjustment under the specified voltage (DC6V) unless otherwise specified. SECTION 4 ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS 4-1. 1. CFS-E2 TAPE RECODER SECTION 0 dB = 0.775 V 2. PRECAUTION Adjustments should be performed in the order given. (Generally playback circuit adjustments should be completed before preforming recording circuit adjustments.) Adjustments should be performed for both L-ch and R-ch. (Switches and controls should be set as follows unless otherwise specified.)
