I am no different than most of you reading this book. Before finding eBay I held a regular 9-to-5 job. Like most people, my wife and I were struggling to pay our credit bills. My desire for an opportunity to do more led to my tremendous success. I've never thought twice about my decisions nor looked back on my accomplishments and considered myself special ­ but I did turn my dreams of running my own business into reality. First, let me give you a quick recap of my accomplishments. A few years ago my company earned the recognition of being an eBay Titanium Powerseller. We were in the top 500 of all eBay sellers and were top in the top 10 in our category, sporting goods. Our first full calendar year in business we did nearly $4.5 million in online sales.
