GREGORIS is a composer in the field of electronic music. He started up with classical piano and theory lessons but at the same time he was trying to find his own musical identity for what he wanted could not be expressed with acoustic means.
The piano although a fine instrument in its own right could not provide the whole palette of musical colours he wanted so he searched for new ways so as to implement his ideas.
He's looking forward for a future where technology is more human centric. He also believes that the whole music creation in all its phases has to be done by one and only person so the original idea and aesthetics are preserved without any distortion pure and direct from the creator to the listener no one else in between just pure transmission of emotions that's what music is all about after all.
With the song "I Love U " he innovates by presenting the computer as the singer (this is the year 2000) and in 2002 he wins the Finalist Best electronica song of the International JUST PLAIN FOLKS 2002 MUSIC AWARDS in Los Angeles, in 2004 he enters THE 2004 YAMAHA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC PRODUCTION CONTEST with the song U & I where he reaches number 4 in the semifinals under voting from listeners from all over the world...
