This photo taken in June 1975 shows Hs Trident G-AVYD with British Airways but still in North East livery at Newcastle just a few months before the aircraft came to a sticky end as a result of an aborted take off at Bilbao in wet conditions.

Behind the Trident is an HS 748 of the Queens flight. Prince Charles had visited Newcastle that day.
