Details:
Bringing on a new mix of intensity and energy Gridlokt has pounded its way into the ears of many worldwide. Blending a chaotic Live show with a will to succeed, audiences have been swept away. Gridlokt was originally formed in 1998 as violent acts of aggression. By the year 2000 Gridlokt seeded out many members and formed a band from some of the most talented musicians in Tucson. Gridlokt practiced for nearly 4 years before they ever even played a show. The first show Gridlokt played they dragged a large crowd in to see them play and in turn won the Battle Of The Bands. The second show they ever played was with Hatebreed and ill Nino.

The name Gridlokt was spreading fast and the band soon saw themselves playing with such national acts as Chimaira, Korn, Soulfly, Hatebreed, Otep, ill Nino, 40 Below Summer, Dope, Society 1, Hank Williams 3, Mushroomhead, Kittie, Crisis, American Head Charge, E Town Concrete, Switched, Boy Hits Car, Chevelle, The Scorpions, Tesla, Yellowcard,Twisted Method, Skinlab, Primer 55, Hemlock, Monstrosity,Tony Hawk, Matt Hoffman, Metal Mulisha, Skindred, and more. The name was beginning to become common across Arizona and the surrounding region.

With no education of how touring or the music industry worked the band set out to get out of Tucson and start drawing a regional audience. Slowly the band started making a name for themselves across the whole west coast and have been independantly touring and promoting the new album " Wrists Under Razors" which has been extremely succesful in the 2 months it has been out. Gridlokt has worked hard and put in long uncomfortable trips wherever they had to be to try and gain a fan and have done it all on their own. Gridlokt has played over 250 shows in the last 2 years.

Gridlokt also has picked up much support through the internet the bands web site generated extreme traffic and built a community that is constantly growing. The band has received support from many online internet stations including Monsoon Radio, Metal Faction radio,KMU Radio, M4 Radio, Mega Brutal Radio, and more. Also the band has picked up much college radio air time including The University Of Arizona's KAMP Radio and W.B.O.R Brunswick ME amongst many others. Also the band received airplay on Tucson's 92.1 KFMA and 96.1 KLPX. Gridlokt was also featured on web sites including GarageBand.com and Collective Underground.com Reviews have been popping up all around the web.

In a time where Metal Music was supposedly dying off, Gridlokt persisted to prove the mainstream wrong. Hard work ethic and pure determination built a steady international fan base and has generated cd sales througout the globe. Gridlokt is determined to become one of our generations loudest heavy metal voices.
