Grubstake plays bluesy, stripped-lean rock with rich, swampy undertones. Highlighted by a bunch of accordion and other eclectic keys, the songs are held together by simmering drums and a fat-bottomed Travis Bean buzzing hum.

"Ghosts of Arkadelphia" is the band's second offering, once again recorded by Grubstake and delivered straight from their bubbling laboratory cauldron to your nearest CD player. Great listening for a barbeque or when you wake up in the middle of the night, "Ghosts..." has a little bit of everything, from the kitchen sink to the cat's meow.
