Jackie´O is a band that was created at the beginning of 2006 in Mexico City. Four musicians and friends from life gathered to make this project happen by going 100 percent independent.
What Jackie´O means to the band is that name given to that person that you donât know yet but you mean to find.
The band is conformed by Josefo Del Hoyo (Guitar, Voice and Sytnhs), Fer Romero (Guitar and Synths), Titi (Bass) and Diego Medellin (Drums). They define their style as an Indie Rock, with influences of Pop Rock.
At this time they are promoting there first EP and their first single titled "Ella". This first EP was auto produced by two members of the band Fer Romero and Josefo Del Hoyo.
They have presented in many night clubs, bars and forums in Mexico such as the Bull Dog Cafe, Hard Rock Live, Vive Cuervo Salon and they were one of the opening bands for the Vive Latino 2008, one of the biggest Festivals in Latin America celebrated here in Mexico City.
