Guano Boys play original island-style dance grooves featuring a great rhythm section, searing saxophones, gorgeous steel guitar, and brilliant song writing- making this music some of the most interesting and creative that you will find. The different elements blend together in a most compelling, yet fluid way- a perfect coming together.

The fact that the incredible acoustic bass player on this record, Dave Grant, passed away during the completion of this project, makes the preservation of this moment in time, when the band was obviously firing on all cylinders, all the more precious. Our members have performed on some of the biggest festival stages (Telluride) and radio programs (Prairie Home, Mountain Stage), and recorded and performed with artists such as Peter Rowan, Tim O'brien, Beausoleil, Leftover Salmon, Tony Furtado and many more of our nation's finest musicians.
