She began singing these spiritual chants, and practicing yoga from the time she was 4 years old. Meeta has pursued her dreams of singing predominantly Western music for most of her musical career. Although born and raised in the US, Meeta went back to her roots in India to record this CD in Ahmedabad. She immersed herself with Indian music, musicians and instruments to record this very unique CD.
