About the Album Art

The petroglyphs of the V-Bar-V Ranch, located east of Sedona Arizona remained a family secret until its donation to the state. Much of the meaning is shrouded in mystery, but best wisdom suggests it is a calendar of sorts that may indicate the optimal times for three seasonal corn plantings.

About Memo

Memo a healer/artist and shamanic practitioner in the Incan energy traditions. The flute first appeared to him in a guided shamanic journey called a âsoul retrievalâ conducted by anthropologist Alberto Villoldo. He later purchased his first Native American flute in Sedona, AZ and used it in the shamanic practices of opening sacred spaces, sound healings and divinations.

After receiving the âCreator Ritesâ of the Munay-Ki from the shaman elders of Peru (in these tracks you will hear the âbells of Don Francisco.â Don Francisco, the president of the Qâero nation uses these Peruvian bells to summon the pure energy believed to be in the High Andes. The music is inspired by the powerful healing ways of the Qâero.
