POTHEAD MUSIC: Acoustic guitar, archaic drum machine, a wooden sax, (bought and paid for at Venice Beach Calif), faded lyrics. Live long enough to notice a few redundancies and add music. I took a few singing lessons but not enough to kill my crooning. My purpose is to express myself how I see fit. Possibly we'll all realize we're more the same than different but who wants to put themselves out there? I'm hoping to find others that can relate, maybe form something from ideas. Smoke a joint together dare I say it? I don't promote drug use. I smoke herb and that's a personal choice, it's not for everyone. Including the guy who's dead set against pot use but loves the Beatles. If your favorite artist is a pothead then you're in support and for that, we thank you.

I do allow the word "nigga" to slip into a one song but don't trip. In my neighborhood,(Today's Market St.) nigga word has several meanings non of which is black. Any culture that's ever been oppressed qualifies. At one time it was kept in the hood but now young black rappers have sold the word into general international use. The word's not going away, unless we mainstream it. So don't be afraid to say the "N" word to whom ever, excluding black folks. Or should I say, African Americans. A term used on black folks usually with no dual citizenship to legally back it up but hey, it sounds nice. I've met more documented Caucasian African Americans than documented black ones. Who we foolin??

Somebody said I sound like Jack Johnson meets Nate Dog, I heard this music will put folks to sleep. Maybe. If you get something from it, coo. Accident happen. If I have to categorize this music, then I say this is Pothead Music no question, head bobbin', mile joggin' foot tappin', home work crammin' late night bonin' wake and bakin' fun!
