The RockinBuds sound is based on the guitar sounds,textures and recording methods of the 60's & 70's as used by The Rolling Stones. Music recorded from amps fully cranked into mikes. No effect pedals were used in these recordings to get a very "natural" guitar sound. Acoustic guitars are vintage Gibson, Martins & Epiphones, Electric guitars are Fender & Gibsons. These songs were not rehearsed. They were played in real time by real people, no loops or cut and pastes.
I love the acoustic sound of Jimmy Page and the "weaving" sounds of Keith Richards & The Stones. For me that is the beginning and the end.
