Originally a one man organization "hansi" is now a three piece band. They live in Oakland CA and have been together for about 3 years now. Francis = drums and live backing vocals, Johannes = vocals and all things guitar, Lucas = all things bass.

This record is a few years old (2000) but it is an important breaking point musically for the band. It shows a more cohesive rock/pop style and clear direction, where the first ep(the one with a bunch of rockets and space ships and stuff on it) is more of a self exploration and experimentation record.

hansi has since recorded and released their first full length CD called "like we used to" this year (2002) and it is arguably the best music hansi has ever recorded (with or without the band). But find out for yourself. buy all three and compare.
