Love, life, heartache, betrayal, and the pursuit of retribution: these subjects entwine and separate in the music of Houston, Texas' own Hardin Store Road.
Hardin Store Road has been on ongoing project of singer/guitarist Mike Hardin since early 2000. Drawing from personal experiences, Hardin's songs are not only emotionally charging, but relevant to broad audiences in that everyone has endured similarly throughout their lives.
Originally an acoustic act, Hardin Store Road played frequently around the Houston area gaining a following of dedicated fans. After several years had passed, Hardin felt it was time to take HSR to the next level. Armed with an arsenal of songs, he sought out players to transform this project into a full band. Hardin called upon several people he had previously collaborated with, adding John Yarbrough ong guitar and vocals and Jon Charbonnet on guitar, and Charlie Price and Neil DuFour on drums and bass, he felt he had created the perfect lineup of not only talent but dedication to take Hardin Store Road to the next level.
Hardin Store Road is currently gearing up for its latest endeavor, the release of its debut EP "This is Her Walking Away." This album, expected to be released in the summer of 2005, will be followed by a west coast tour in August.
