Haki started in music as school choir member and as a guitarist in the school ochestra. Grew up on a heavy mix of R&B, Reggae and African music. Haki currently has 8 recordings in his SANA style of music that is a fusion of reggae, hymnal, doo wop, and Benga (African style) music. Haki has an easy listening style of music that he uses to convey his messages of peace, love, justice and a Love for God. Haki is currently working on a ladies choir project, Wamama Wa Imani (Christian Women of Faith). Wamama Wa Imani is comprised of women comming from extreme poverty backgrounds who were previously engaged in antisocial activities like prostitution and illicit alcohol brewing, and are now Christians and living responsibly.Haki can be reached at hakiyamungu@yahoo.com
