Spearheaded by the songwriting of Pipe Villaran and Francois Peglau, and armed with the most unforgettable band name in rock history, LOS FUCKIN SOMBREROS quickly rose to the top in their native Peru, garnering critical acclaim in mainstream national press and throughout the region in Rolling Stone Latin America. Weaving musically from genre to genre and lyrically from Spanish to English, the band earned a cult following over the course of three studio albums, culminating in their masterpiece SHA-LA-LA. It was at this peak that the band declared it was time to take a "Fuckin Break", leading to a series of sold-out shows in Lima in early 2007 before they literally scattered to the four corners of the world.
