Thank you for considering adding Danny Hayter's "SOUL" on FIRE CD to your musical selection. There's plenty of music out there, but I thank you for showing enough interest to "check me out". I hope you enjoy the music. (Note: If you don't understand the title, then check out the inside cover of the CD. That should explain it all.)

"SOUL" on FIRE contains the "music of my mind". Like all musicians, I must pay homage to those that have influenced whatever style I have.... mainly James Brown (The Godfather) and George Clinton. My music is a polyrhythmic sound that is generally "on the one".

However, the biggest influence in my music, (and indeed, in my life) has been my love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the reason that I write music with a message.

And that message is that we must believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. We must believe that He was able to bear the sins of the world.... and that He DID bear the sins of the world. We must believe that He died on the cross for our sins. We must believe that He was buried. We must believe that He rose with power. We must believe that He ascended to heaven. And finally, we must believe that He sits at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for every sin we have ever committed (or will ever commit).

So mine is a message of praise, of thanksgiving, and of VICTORY in JESUS CHRIST!!!

I started writing, and writing, and writing. The result..... "SOUL" on FIRE, my first (but hopefully not my last praise offering.
