Clever thought rock for the R.A.T.M. deprived. This Philly band brings the rebellious spirit and purpose of 90s alt rock back to challenge the current scene.
5 MP3 Songs in this album (19:48) !
Related styles: ROCK: Hard Rock, ROCK: College Rock
People who are interested in Incubus The Smashing Pumpkins My Chemical Romance should consider this download.
Details:
Super Consumers is a five-man alternative rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Filled with driving rhythms and pointed commentary, their debut EP "Terrorism" holds the mirror up to cultural excess.
The album toys with issues of control and addiction (both chemical and technological), as the band asks, "Who's the real terrorist?" Recorded with producer Michael Harmon, Super Consumers' sound is rooted in 90s alt rock sensibilities, polished and updated for the current social climate. From coffee chains to crackheads, no one escapes scrutiny.
With tongue planted firmly in cheek, "Terrorism" dishes out playful, observational songs that grind out a healthy helping of musical kickass.
