The HenHouse Studios Anthology 3 takes you on a musical journey through spoken RnB, funk, reggae, soul and more. Sonja Marie -Blending jazz, hip-hop, poetry. RnB, and funky melody lines Sonja Marie has become a namesake (?) in LA's music scene. Her sensual lyrics and captivating performances have allowed her the opportunity to write and perform on the multi-platinum and Grammy nominated soundtrack "Waiting to Exhale". For a more recent piece of work, besides this compilation CD, you can hear her work with Cody ChesnuTT's on his latest release, Headphone Masterpiece.

Love Balm - consists of Weapon of Choice's own Lonnie Marshall as well as Gabrielle Lang. Lonnie has been quoted by Flea from the Chili Peppers "As one of the Funkiest People Alive." He also has performed at the Grammies alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers and George Clinton. Gabrielle Land has studied Sitar both in India and America with such Masters as: Ali Akbar Kahn, Rajeez Taranath, and Partha Chatterjee. Both Lonnie and Gabby play in various other bands together , one of which is the notorious 70 piece hip hop orchestra - DAKAH, as well as with Les Claypool formerly of Primus.

Dr. Madd Vibe - aka: Angelo Moore. Playing every instrument on this cut, is the front man in the legendary Fishbone. Without hesitation we can easily say this extremely talented "Dr", with his amazing voice and creative ideas, has a way of taking all of his "madd" ideas and turning them straight into Vibe.

Max - "Max is a lot like Madonna - only she can sing."(Chris Isaak) Max is a wealth of talents. From Singing to Comedy, she's captured audiences all across Australia, Europe and North America. In 1995 Max signed to Warner Music. Her '95 single "coma" was voted top ten nationally by Australia's JJJ Network, while 6 months later her record "A Milion Year Girl" went Platinum receiving 8 award nominations.

Old Sol - This 5 piece wurlitzer driven soul folk band is fronted by lead vocalist and song writer, Megan Jacobs, who has recorded and played with everyone from Andre Cymone (Prince and the Revolution) to members of Ani DeFranco and Macy Gray's Bands. She is also noted for her work as Talent Buyer for 3 years at Santa Monica's reputable Temple Bar.

Upstream - This band includes 3 sons of the late Ras Shorty I. They have opened for such acts as: REM, Dave Matthews Band, The Wailers, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Wailing Souls and Jimmy Buffet. The track selected for the Hen House Anthology 3 was co -written by the infamous Reggae Star, Sister Carol.
