Cathy graduated from the University of Kentucky with a major in Music Ed. and sang in as many groups as possible. She sang harmony vocals for over eight years with Chakra Bleu â the pop/rock act whose songs charted on the A/C, AAA, and college format radio stations across the United States as well as several European countries.
Currently, Cathy Barker has branched off into a promising solo career fueled by her first CD, âTake the Timeâ which was co-produced by Chakra Bleu and Ficalora Productions. She has been a long time active soloist at First Church Unity in Nashville, Tennessee as well as the reputable âNashville in Harmonyâ.
Cathyâs greatest joy in life is sharing the gift of music by singing the heart-felt songs of her soul.
