Details:
Bill Hearn and Scott Plato began working together as a duo in the summer of 2000. Their programs feature traditional duo guitar repertoire by composers such as Bach, Granados, and Scarlatti as well as flamenco and South American folk music. The duo also perform their own arrangements of a wide range of music.

Both Bill and Scott have many years of experience as soloists and chamber musicians. Scott's recent concert appearances include performances with members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra. Bill teaches guitar at Clayton State College & State University near Atlanta and lute at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He was chosen three times as an International Semifinalist in the Guitar Foundation of America Solo Competition and worked for four years in the North Carolina Visiting Artist Program.
