Charlie Sutton has spent years traveling the country working odd jobs and playing his original music. After moving to St.Louis at the age of 16, he formed his own unique sound while immersed in the culture of a city full of diverse music. His style pulls from folk-blues, bluegrass, psychedelia and soul. Charlie has a country meets city feel to his songs, providing good contrast and flavour. After years of playing bars in St.Louis, subways in Boston and coffee houses in New England he has moved back to the towering pines of his native northwest. In October of 2006, he performed on A Prarie Home Companion when it travelled near his hometown of Moscow, Idaho. His latest album 'Milk Man's Son' was recorded in his home studio in January of 2008.
