In 2002 Kevin Carlberg, lead vocalist and songwriter for alternative rock band âPseudopod" was named Rolling Stoneâs Best College Band in America. Shortly there after the band was signed to a world wide recording deal with Interscope Records, known for signing the most successful and cutting edge artists in the world.
Pseudopod hit the road in support of their debut CD sharing the stage with rock icons including Maroon 5, Dave Matthews, Sheryl Crow, Blues Traveler and Train.
Kevinâs standout vocals and original material took Pseudopod to the top 20 of AAA radio.
While on tour in Colorado, Kevin was diagnosed with brain cancer, he underwent successful surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. With his illness behind him and a never ending passion for music Kevin (now a solo artist) hit the road again backed by his fans, features in People Magazine, cover of the L.A. Times and radio/ television interviews.
Most recently Kevin Carlberg has played numerous benefits for cancer patients,
completed the L.A. Marathon and has written perhaps the best material of his career. Currently, Kevin is working with producer Dito Godwin (of No Doubt fame) in preparation of the next leg of his incredible journey.
