The Hi-Lite Juniors are a New Jersey based group which was formed in the early 70's by Doc Mckenzie who is the uncle of the lead singer Eric Mckenzie,the group has went on to sing and be a part of many talent shows winning at first place and then after recorded their first single,{I Found The Lord} after that single was released they began to sing in more places in the south as well as the north.
Later on the guitar player and singer Edward Dick Mckenzie became very sick and the singer at the time Chauncey Black left the group to later on become part of the world Famous Black Street and then after Edward's Passing The group reforganized with the new members Eric Mckenzie, Kinny Montgomery,Erskine Barrino, Tony Prioleau, and Harry Norris.
This group signed their first record deal and recorded their first cd entitled {Lean on Jesus} after winning first place at The American Gospel Quartet Convention and then proceeded to travel accross the country performing on stage with all the top names in gospel and from then on went to release a second cd entitled Generations II, which was done independantley.
Today you will find this brand new cd just released {Songs From The Heart} a long awaited release from the Hi-Lite Juniors to be the best work done by the group so far, you will be blessed continuosly throughout this new project and the message they have provided for you through their music..
