HOONOSE are essentially a two piece, but often a three piece and sometimes a seven piece band, ensemble, variety act who like to do things abit different and aren't really bothered about the consequences.

We like to sing about debt, monster parents, depression, enormous crocodiles, world peace and trees growing. We'd like to live in a better world / time but have to be content with this pile of faeces that we live in now. We don't like the super rich and we don't like the fact that some people starve to death.

We think the world will end (as we know it) pretty soon and want to float like leaves on the river of life.

We tread carefully in some areas and stomp our feet in others.

We are shrewd schizophrenic fightened giants who walk elevated from the surface of the earth and many leagues below the sea.

We are contemporary and old school, nice and nasty, friendly and aloof, good and bad, cheese and pickle.

We make music that WE like to listen to, we sometimes create music that doesn't fit into pigeon holes and we like this the best.
