My name is Danielle Thrush and I'm just a little lady with a big voice. Writing and performing are what make me tick and I find my refuge in a bunch of black and white keys. When I was a little girl I was head over heels for music. Singing in the bathtub was a way of life. But the bathtub eventually turned into a shower and then a stage and there it was that I decided music was what I was born to do. Over the years I have performed everywhere: in churches, choirs, musicals, and even operas- whatever and wherever my love of music was welcome. But it was when I sat at the piano a few years ago to turn my ear toward the writing side of music that I found my greatest passion yet. And although the heart aches that brought me the ammunition and inspiration for the "Long Way Down" EP were anything but easy to go through, having it all spill out onto the pages as I wrote made it all worth it. My music is a bit moody at times, but I mean every word of it. And heck, it's just what comes out when I start plunking on the keys. Every song is a story. So, thank you for listening, and I hope you can find at least a little part of your story somewhere inside of mine. Enjoy!
