He is the oldest male of 7 children (5 sisters and 1 brother) birthed to his parents, Lisa Parker and Thomas Rankins Sr. Da Answer is married to Brandy Rankins, has 3 sons (JahMir, Tomarez, and Braelyn), and a child on the way. He is a proud member of Zion Pentecostal Church of Christ in Cleveland and is under Suffragan Bishop C. Wayne Brantley.

Of the many souls receiving the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, comes this man whose joy is in praising God through his quintessential gifts of producing music and lyrical poetry.
