Once upon a time in medium-sized city 40 miles west of Boston, MA...

Bret Talbert (guitar/lead vox) and childhood friend Matt Dubuque (drums) formed a rock band in junior high school. Several years and 5 bands later, hooking up with Lance Muhammad (bass/backing vox) along the way, Bret, Matt, and Lance are together again in HOTHEAD.

Collective Career hi-lights:
*Toured the US with UK's the Wonder Stuff (Polygram)
*Opened for UK's Ned's Atomic Dustbin (Columbia) at Wellesley College, for Carter USM (Chrysalis) in Boston, & for Skunk Anansi (Sony) in Providence, RI
*Performed at the WBMX (Mix 98.5-Boston) Mixfest '96
*Went to #11 on the UK charts on a Carter B-side MIXFEST in Boston.

HOTHEAD's music has a bit more polish than Garage rock, a bit less sarcasm than Punk. Generational, political, girl / boy, and universal themes pervade their music.
