I reside in a little town East of the Mississippi State line. Lisman, Alabama. It's a small community with a big heart. I grew up in a large family with plenty of brothers and sisters. I am the "Baby" of the bunch. I started getting interested in music at about the age of 6. You see my family, large family that is, formed a group. The Holcombes. We use to go everywhere singing. We were always in the public's eye. As I got older, I found out that this is really what I like to do. In 1989, I recorded a song titled "You Must Get To Know Me". This was my first time recording in a real studio. I learned a lot from that experience. I began to inquire about different equipment and things of that nature. After the word of my recording began to spread, I began performing more. One of my brothers and I formed a duo. We were simply called the
"Holcombe Brothers". We performed a lot locally. We did
Weddings, Bars, Parties, Community events and more. We
even came in first place in an event titled "The Deep South Music Asociation Festival". This is a local organization for singers, musicians and songwriters. Well here I am now 2004. I've learned a lot. I have my own recording studio, I compose my own music, and I write my own songs. My belief is, if you believe you can achieve something, than you are the founder of your faith.
