Band Biography
The Human Echo is an alternative/indie (i.e. shoegaze/post rock) band based out of Tampa , Florida that formed during the summer of 2003. The members of the group had previously worked together in other comparable projects, and they had discovered among each other a similar interest in what exactly it was they were trying to achieve musically. Each member contributes their own form of stylistic expression or what influences them the most, which mainly derives from Britpop, Surf Rock, Grunge, and Folk. For the most part, it's difficult to focus in on one specific genre to categorize The Human Echo. Their music has been described as an amalgam of styles, 'dreary', 'haunting' and 'swelling' with colorful melodies, capable of establishing both a clear and hypnotizing image.
