Rick B. is a guitarist songwriter who appreciates music without lyrics. âI think it gives you more room to process the song and melody when it is instruments only.â His interests include classical music, Art and the Bible and the Great Artist and Author of Life itself: God. I was raised up on anything from classical to swing played in swing bands and alternative bar bands. My parents were musical; My Grandmother sang me folk songs and sang in the USO. My Grandfather was a drummer. They were responsible along with my mother for creating in me a broad palette of appreciation for music and influential on my life. I appreciate art therapy for people who are depressed and believe that art and music can be influential on ones health. I believe music, art and literary works should convey enough to evoke certain emotions out of people and that music and art and writing should be used to glorify God. I am currently playing guitar and bass in my churches music ministry and enjoy singing hymns and Christmas Caroling.
