Never Too Late was founded with the burning belief that it is Never Too Late to live your dreams. Larry was playing original music in his basement but only the walls had ears. Steve was a gifted guitarist who had practically hung up his guitar on the wall. Mark was rediscovering the long-forgotten joy of playing music. Ron was pounding the skins in his basement dreaming of finding like-minded players who could help him get on the stage.

Larry and Steve began performing together at a variety show in 2004. Mark was performing with a bluegrass band when he heard them and was pulled in by their tight harmonies. Pretty soon, the three were performing in Virginia as Delaney, Hall & Saenz. As their repertoire grew, they sensed the need for a drummer. They heard through the grapevine that Ron had been looking for a band. When they got together, it was magic. Ron fit right in and completed Never Too Late.
