Nathaniel, Scott and Aidan of Yes Nice have been playing together on and off for almost eight years. All three have been formally educated in music with diplomas in recording and performance as well as a Bachelor's degree in composition between them. This promises to be the strongest year yet with the recent addition of Nathaniel's sister Jillian. The original trio knew they needed to not only bring in someone they would still like after the first week but someone who would add even more versatility to the group. The influences of Yes Nice stretch far and wide: from The Beatles, Schoenberg, The Flaming Lips and Motown artists to Akron/Family, Tom Waits, Chopin and Mates of State. Keep your ears open for lush harmonies, engaging sounds and interesting arrangements. Yes Nice will lure you in with the up-tempo, colourful tracks then coax you into staying for the evocative, mellow songs.
