Details:
John (Iggy) Taylor has a wife, kids, job and a mortgage. He began playing in local garage bands when he was a teenager. Never having a musical lesson, Taylor would "pick up" whatever instrument the band needed at that time. After several years of playing, he decided he wanted to eat, so he got a "real job". Selling most of his band equipment, he walked away from playing music for 20 years.

In 1999, both Taylor's parents became ill. For 11 months he watched helplessly as they both slipped away. During that time Taylor returned to music helping to ease his pain. "Some people go to church, others find support groups, I wrote songs". And Taylor wrote quite a few. Twenty in 6 months. Playing every instrument, singing the vocals and doing all the recording and production himself, he named his one man band "Bad Betsy".

Taylor began playing his songs for family and friends. A family member secretly uploaded a song to MP3.com., then another. "Before I knew it, I had a whole web site of my music and getting money for it". Next came his first CD."The Best of Bad Betsy". The CD charted at #1 in sales for Delaware on MP3.com for eight consecutive weeks. "I was happy for my new found success but I felt, somehow, it was blood money. I made the decision to donate all my earnings to the charity that had helped my folks."

But simply giving the money away quickly became a struggle. Taylor found that charities did not want to associate themselves with him merely because of his outspoken viewpoints regarding nursing homes. Some did not like the name "Bad Betsy" and others, clearly, didn't want to be associated with rock music. One charity that had accepted money, for over a year, went public denouncing "Bad Betsy" after Taylor's comment "nursing homes are like prisons". "It simply demonstrated that it was always about the money and not about the quality of care or the patient's rights to a dignified end. They showed me who's side they were on." Never looking back, Taylor continues his fight trying to make a difference in the world through positive lyrics, music, and actions.

Two years in the making, "Schtuff" is already receiving critical acclaim as being Taylor's best work with several songs winning multiple awards in international song competitions. Taylor has been offered publishing contracts and has recently licensed the song, "Peace and Love" to the "We Want Peace on Earth", a foundation promoting world peace.

"Schtuff" is about counting ones blessings". The entire CD promotes love, enjoying life and family. "It's never to late to make a difference".
