iH5 consist of 5 members: J-Rock on bass, Dr. Santos on guitar, dJdUs on turntables/samples, Smoothie on drums, and Kody K on vocals, all who met 5 years ago in Corpus Christi, TEXAS. iH5's musical influences vary. On any given road trip you will find five guys each rockin their own headphones. Usually there is a screaming 80's Stryper guitar lead leaking from the Dr's phones while Smoothie is in the 4th row wiggin out to PS2. dJdUs is CEO of 3rd row productions while making beats on Reason via the G4. JRock usually drives, so who gives a rats ass what he likes, right!? Kody K is deaf, but he bobs his head awkwardly mumbling things which makes us all feel weird. And anyone along for the ride in The Vanimal is forced to watch Troma B Movies the entire trip. The band combines these different musical tastes to produce a branch-off style that when rediscovered in 2000 years by robots, they can honestly say "that had guitars in it." By merging music like hard rock, hiphop, and a lil' counrty twang with an adrenaline packed live show, crowds have no problem feeding off their energy. Their rapidly increasing fan base has earned them opportunity to open for such ROCK acts as: Papa Roach, Push Monkey, Vallejo, the Ernies, The Fly's, The Hunger, Vanilla Ice, Bowling for Soup, and HIPHOP acts as: Fat Joe, Ludacris, LL Cool J, Big Moe, McHammer, Frankie J, Baby Bash and Gemini. They have also had the opportunity to play festivals such as the Vans Warped tour battle of the bands, the Austin Zapatista Benefit Concert, the Beat 96.1 Moe Music Festival at Weslaco Park, the valley's South Texas Underground Music Festival, Mesquite Groove in Kingsville, two consecutive years on the Pecan Street Festival in Austin, Bay Fest in Corpus Christi, North by Northgate in College Station, two years of the Lifestylez Aspen-Breckenridge Snowalicious Tours with the KottonMouthKings/Coolio and too many others to keep track of. iH5 is stiring up a bubbling pot of witches brew...We Promise!!!!
