Best described as "bluegrass, etc.," this dynamic five-piece acoustic band brings new notes to old classics and old notes to new: solid three- and four-part harmonies backed by mandolin, fiddle, banjo, guitar, and bass.

Hi, and thanks for your interest! We're a group of five guys from the Lewis-Clark Valley area having a grand old time playing concerts around the Northwest. We play a lot of original works in addition to bluegrass and folk classics (for example Foggy Mountain Breakdown, Blackberry Blossom). We like to describe our sound as "bluegrass, etc." due to our other stylistic influences that come peeking through every once in awhile (Folk, Celtic, Appalachian, Blues, etc.).
ON GUITAR AND LEAD VOCALS: Warren Akin
A solid guitarist and vocalist, Warren is also a fantastic songwriter- in fact, he's written just about all of our original works. His songs are lyrical, elegantly written, and heartfelt. We're his biggest fans.
ON MANDOLIN, GUITAR AND VOCALS: Tim Gundy
In addition to being a killer mandolin player, Tim is about the humblest guy you'll ever meet. He just rocks, but you'd never hear it from him!
ON BANJO AND VOCALS: Dale Vallandigham
You would never, ever guess that Dale hasn't really been playing banjo all that long. His technique is just superb. He's also a killer vocalist (with barbershop quartet experience) and a really, really great yodeler.
ON BASS, MANDOLIN, GUITAR AND VOCALS: Denis Hackwith
Born in a musical family, Denis has been playing bluegrass, folk, and other roots music his entire life. He's an incredibly solid bass fiddle player who adds the foundation to all of our music. We also like to bring him forward to show off his mandolin style.
ON VIOLIN, MANDOLIN, GUITAR AND VOCALS: Jason Hackwith
Jason, Denis' son, also grew up playing roots music, but branched into all kinds of musical styles throughout his life (everything from opera to alt rock). He studied classical violin for a decade, majored in music with a voice and guitar emphasis, and has been writing funky, bluesy-folk/acoustic rock music since high school.
