The music on this CD was a result of my live experiences thus far. The joy and the pain I have felt are expressed here. Music has been therapy for me and my wish for you is that you will feel a sense of healing as you listen. I share my music lovingly with you and I hope everyone who listens will know it is From my Heart. My mother's passing in 1998 was the motivation/inspiration of the making of this CD as a tribute to her - and that music was one of the few things that gave her comfort. I played at her funeral and felt a strength come over me in my grief - it was a truly sacred moment and I was able to play for 15 minutes what ever my heart was feeling and I lost all track of time during this. I had no music in front of me I was improvising the whole time. I do not read music I play by ear.
Our love was so strong and I wasn't sure I could be composed enough to play but I did and it was for the love and honor of my mother that I did. It felt so right. She died from Scleroderma which is an autoimmune connective tissue disease and I donated money from every sale to find a cure for this disease.
